Byfield Barbershop Harmony Club were accepted a full members of the British Association of Barbershop Singers in the autumn of 2005. We compete at the Barbershop Convention and also in the Milton Keynes Music Festival each year. We have had some success and strive to improve our scores at every appearance.

We are always on the look out for new members and offer free singing courses to anyone interested periodically. Please check out our web site for further details.

We rehearse at the Banbury Twenty Cricket Club every Thursday night from 7.45 pm. When their Fixtures prevent this we can be found in the Church. We welcome anyone who is interested to come along and either take part or simply listen on these occasions. There is no requirement to be able to read music and we will teach you all you need to know to be able to sing in four part close harmony that is so recognisably the Barbershop style.

Byfield Barbershop Harmony Club was formed in 2003. We have sung and entertained at many local events such as Fete’s Weddings and Birthday Parties. We regularly visit senior citizens in homes in and around the Byfield, Daventry, and Banbury areas to entertain them.

We believe in having fun and enjoying ourselves and after rehearsals we can often be found in one of the local hostelries partaking of some light refreshments and singing another song …..or two.
