Cricket Club

Byfield Cricket Club are looking for volunteers to train as coaches, umpires and scorers. Generally we must increase the number of qualified coaches in the junior section of the Club and specifically we need someone to manage an under 10 Kwik Cricket team for next summer, plus volunteers to work with them. This role will involve running U10 “soft ball” coaching sessions on Saturday mornings through the summer and organising a team and transport etc to a few friendly tournaments. No cricket experience is necessary but you will be expected to commit to gaining the ECB level 1 coach award for which the Club will contribute towards the cost. It might suit parents with youngsters keen to take up the sport?

We are also looking to recruit umpires and scorers and again the Club will gladly contribute towards the costs of training.
Anyone who volunteers for any of these positions will immediately become highly valued members of a friendly and supportive club.
