Many thanks to those of you who took the time to respond to our survey last month - we were really pleased with the excellent response.

You may be interested to know that most of you thought responsiveness and visibility were important contributors to a good quality of service, and the things that make a good impression are 'being interested', 'understanding' and 'taking things seriously'.

And taking all the responses into account, we were delighted to see that 80 per cent were positive.  Thanks again for your feedback.

LOCAL POLICING AND PERFORMANCE PLAN

The priorities for policing Northamptonshire in the coming year have been launched today at a special event at Police Headquarters.

The combined Local Policing & Performance Plan and the Strategic Plan for 2008-11 sets out the objectives and targets for the Force for the next three years. Go to www.northantspoliceauthority.org.uk or click here to view the new plan.

HOME BEAT - SPRING EDITION

The latest edition of our community newspaper, Home Beat, will be delivered to homes across Northamptonshire later this month.

In it you'll find your Local Policing Summary for 2007/2008, which includes including a look back at how we did last year, as well as a look ahead at the coming year and our plans and targets for the next twelve months.

Distribution will take place during the week commencing 12 April and a copy will also be available on our website at www.northants.police.uk.
